The Fiends.

Anticipating the gorgeous Fall weather, I loaded up the three-tiered shelf outside with birdhouses and plump, bright orange pumpkins. It looked so full and festive! I was worried the pumpkins might rot before Halloween, but it never occurred to me to worry about hungry little squirrels who vandalize and steal.

  1. Wow! And that little guy snacking is actually not so little. Looks like he's been feasting away! As I type, there are a few raccoons outside lumbering around bumping things -- quite an oddity for coastal Southern California. I've only seen them once before: when they woke me up at 2 am fighting in a tree outside my window. Sometimes nature is cuter when it stays, well, in nature!

  2. What? Looks like the area has been hit with a tornado! Off with their heads says the Queen in Wonderland...tee hee!

Guess what? I have been aching all over...I think I'm too old to be an elf in Michaels...God help me, I hurt. Five days in a row just about killed me for sure. Up and down ladders, I went on a pity party yesterday when I had to take my aching body on a road trip to see my kids. Of course, I loved seeing them but I needed to rest...well, by the time I got home at 630pm, I was greeted by...guess what? A package from you...sparkles were seeping out the sides! Tee hee!

Thank you for the book and the halloween tree. That's one that you dyed right? And all the mini's...I'm just as happy as can be...you are BOO-tiful to me. Thank you Jill from your Jack!

  3. LOL! I know what you mean, someone or something made off with one of my miniature pumpkins last week. I don't know if it was a raccoon or a deer, who knows!

  4. So cute even though they're little rascals. A squirrel chewed up my cafe chair cushions just because he could!
